Job Title: LAC Teaching Assistant
Do you have experience of supporting pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you confident in working with Looked After Children (LAC) and those in the care system? Have you ever working in a residential support worker role? If so, Axcis Education might have a perfect role for you! Axcis is working with an excellent secondary school in a residential area of Stretford looking for a teaching assistant with experience of working with looked after children (LAC). The ideal teaching assistant will be nurturing and caring, whilst also proactive and flexible in nature. Previous experience in working with students with specific needs, such as attachment issues, is highly desirable for this position. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a very inclusive school that is well staffed and resourced especially to support those with additional needs.
