Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Axcis are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant for a fantastic SEND School and college in the St Helens area. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the education of young people. You will be required to work with SEND students assisting them with their literacy and numeracy skills and helping to keep them on task as well as engage in a range of extra curricular activities to support them in their personal development. . The school has a fantastic support structure and offers excellent resources for all staff that work there. • Full time (term time) • Pay rates between £12.50 and £15 per hour based on experience • Starting ASAP until end of academic year The school are looking for someone to support students with Autism. Previous experience is desired. You must have an understanding of working with young people with special educational needs and have a real desire to support and uplift the students you work with.
