Axcis Education is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Special Needs class Teacher at a well established special school located in Trafford. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join their team, starting in September 2024. About the School: This exceptional school caters to students aged 11 to 19 with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties, complex needs, and autism. The school boasts fabulous facilities, providing an enriching environment conducive to learning and development. Additionally, the school is co-located with a post-19 college, offering a unique opportunity for collaborative educational experiences. Class teachers are expected to teach across the subject range so the school are interested in hearing from primary as well as secondary teachers with an interest in SEND. This role is suitable for ECTs. Requirements: - Proven experience in teaching students with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties, complex needs, and autism. - A recognised teaching qualification and relevant special needs experience. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
