Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education work in partnership with a primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham. They are seeking full time SEND Teaching Assistants to support the children with a variation of special educational needs. A calm, approachable and empathetic personality is a must as the children can get overwhelmed by loud noises and scares easily. This is a fantastic and incredibly rewarding opportunity to help build the future for the incredible pupils. All pupils and students are encouraged to take part in activities outside the classroom and a broad range of curriculum-enhancing and extra-curricular activities. A successful candidate does not need any specific qualifications but experience of working with children in a school setting in the past 12 months is essential. Ideally candidates will have experience working with SEND children and have familiarity with ADHD, autism or SEMH needs. If you are a reliable, caring and patient individual then this could be just the kind of role you're looking for. The pay for SEND Teaching Assistants starts from £95.29 minimum per day and is in-keeping with the experience of each candidate which joins us.
