They are seeking full time SEND Teaching Assistants to support the children with a variation of special educational needs. A calm, approachable and empathetic personality is a must as the children can get overwhelmed by loud noises and scares easily. All pupils and students are encouraged to take part in activities outside the classroom and a broad range of curriculum-enhancing and extra-curricular activities. A successful candidate does not need any specific qualifications but experience of working with children in a school setting in the past 12 months is essential. Ideally candidates will have experience working with SEND children and have familiarity with ADHD, autism or SEMH needs.
