Job Title: English teacher Secondary
English Teacher – Maternity Cover (September Start)
4 Days per Week (Monday–Thursday)
Secondary Setting – Years 7–11

Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a specialist English Teacher to join a secondary setting from September on a part-time basis, working 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday).
This is a maternity cover position expected to run until March/April, teaching English across Years 7–11. The successful candidate will be a qualified English specialist with experience delivering engaging and differentiated lessons at secondary level.
The Role:
Teaching English to students in Years 7–11
Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons
Monitoring progress and supporting attainment
Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team
Maternity cover from September until approximately March/April
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
English specialism essential
Experience teaching secondary English across KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
