This is a unique opportunity for a HLTA to join a highly regarded school in Cullompton, Devon to start in January 2026
Axcis are looking for an experienced HLTA to join the team to work throughout KS1 and KS2, as part of the post you will need to provide cover for some classes for part of the day whilst a class teacher is working elsewhere. The majority of the post will be focused on literacy and numeracy booster sessions for pupils.
The school offers excellent long-term progression opportunities for its staff. We are currently looking for classroom and HLTA roles in KS1 / KS2 in the school. An ideal HLTA must be proactive, lively, and half the ability to form positive bonds with pupils. The school offers high-quality training and support where needed. General points: - 8.45am-4pm, Full-time, Monday to Friday. Duties may include: - Work with groups of children in activities set by the teacher. - Help with resources such as printing, photocopying, and exhibiting. - Elimination of resources after class. - Work in the classroom assisting the teacher. - The role involves supporting some pupils who need SEND support.
