JOB TITLE / ROLE:
Primary TA for Challenging Behaviour: Chippenham - Wiltshire - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Are you a dedicated SEND practitioner looking for a new challenge? We're looking to recruit an experienced challenging behaviour TA immediately in a mainstream primary school just outside Chippenham working 1-1 with a Y3 child with challenging behaviour and SEMH.
This is a great opportunity to join large school with brilliant leadership and structure. The school has an "excellent" Ofsted rating and its popularity amongst parents, children and staff is clear. The school has excellent parking facilities and links to local public transport.
The position is general KS2 in-class support - you will be working 1-1 with the child and will need to be able to establish a good working relationship with them very quickly. The child has had a very disrupted life and needs someone who is consistent and calm. The Y3 student is at risk of exclusion and presents with very challenging behaviour so resilience is a must. The role is full time and will run till half term with potential to continue for the right candidate.
The right candidate will be an inventive and positive TA who has a proactive attitude and will be calm and unfazed by difficult situations. You will be a positive role model and will have a chance to make a real difference to a child's life. If you have any positive behaviour management training this will out you at an advantage particularly Team Teach or MAPA.
