An alternative provision based in Islington which caters for young people across Key Stages 2 -4 who have been permanently excluded, at risk of exclusion or require a Primary Teacher to work with students with Social emotional mental health needs. The School are looking for a confident and experienced teacher to start in September 2020, on a long term basis. The ideal teacher will be energetic and creative and be able to motivate and inspire pupils within their care. The role involves teaching core subjects a small class of Key Stage 3 pupils who are currently working at a Key Stage 2 level - as such both Secondary and Primary Teachers are welcome to apply. You must be a qualified teacher and have previous experience dealing with SEMH and Challenging behaviour. Team Teach training is highly desirable but not essential. This is an amazing position for someone who is passionate about working with students with challenging behaviour and an opportunity to be a positive role model and make a real difference. This is a full-time role to start in September 2020 and will continue on for the rest of the academic year. About the role: " SEMH Teacher - Key Stage 2 " September 2020 start " Full time (Mon-Fri) The ideal candidate: " Must have QTS " Must demonstrate effective behaviour management skill " Experience with SEMH or EBD " Team Teach- not essential but highly desirable.
