As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the educational and emotional development of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of SEMH pupils. • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to facilitate learning and nurture student well-being. • Implement behavioural management strategies effectively and promote positive behaviour in line with our school ethos. • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, adapting teaching methods to suit various learning styles. • Collaboratively work with teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each child. • Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
