SEND Teacher, North Somerset
The role of an SEND Teacher is often a challenging, varied and rewarding experience. No two days are the same, every assignment will be different and require you to use your own personal & technical skills.
We offer a wide range of opportunities from temporary (supply) to contract and permanent opportunities. The setting can be equally diverse including a primary school, secondary school, special school, alternative provision or maybe even a library (non-school environments.)
Frequently you'll be planning & delivering highly individualised lessons according to the students specifc needs. Each student will likely have unique and often complex needs. Also it's common to be working with a high adult:student ratio; often 2:1 so your communication & colleague relationships are equally as important as your teaching skills.
SEND qualifications & experience are not neccessary as your willingness, interpersonal skills and teaching ability are the key aspects which are most important when working with SEND children.
If you have the will to work in the SEND setting, please apply. We are always recruiting so please apply with an up to date CV and you'll always be assured of a prompt response.
This is a temporary position.
