JOB LOCATION:

An ASD school with multiple sites, for children of all ages, are now recruiting for THREE teachers to start a temporary contract eventually becoming a permanent teacher at the school. The children and young adults who attend this school are on the autistic spectrum as well as having complex needs. Some students are also non verbal and have physical disabilities. The school have a keen focus on Music, Drama and Arts, and ideally looking for teachers with a similar background as well as ASD experience. They are looking for : 1 X ASD teacher for a primary class ( Southall) 1 x ASD teacher for a secondary class. (Southall) 1 x ASD teacher for a FE class (Acton Town) Most classes have no more than 10 students and are supported by teaching assistants and learning support assistants. You will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering lessons , tailored for the students in your class, as well as managing the teaching assistants assigned to your class. You must hold QTS or QTLS to apply for this role. This is a long term placement, working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm. You will also be expected to attend meetings before and after school when needed as well as parent evenings etc. This role is temp to perm, meaning you will start working via the agency and eventually secure a permanent post with the school if all goes well. Daily pay rate ranges from £135 to £160 per day depending on experience. Interviews are taking place ASAP. INDJOBS.
