Have you experience of working as a youth worker, support worker or 1:1 within a school or community centre setting? Are you looking for your next big challenge of working with children and young adults with SEND? Axcis Education is working closely with a secondary school in Liverpool that is currently seeking a teaching assistant to support some students with SEMH. The position is full time and is to start ASAP.
Successful candidates will:
" Have experience of working with teenage age children
" Have recent and relevant references
" Be committed to the needs of the students
" Be able to make a difference to the lives of students
" Have a desire to become part of a committed team
" Be committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
" Follow all school policies
" To nurture and support the pupils in your care
" To plan for next steps and help to deliver interventions
" Uphold the ethos of the school
" Provide, plan and update for the pupils in your class with additional needs.
