Teaching Assistant - SpLD - KS3/4 - Salford - Salford - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Axcis Education is delighted to be working with a secondary school based in Salford that is looking for a learning support assistant to join their SEND department from September until Christmas in the first instance.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with additional needs either on a 1:1, 1:2 or small group basis. An understanding of supporting teaching and learning in the mainstream classroom, as well as delivering targeted intervention is desired.
The role will require the learning support assistant to work across KS3/4 with a number of pupils with SpLD such as: Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Discacular; as well as those with moderate learning difficulties. Support will be required throughout mainstream classes and there will also be some intervention to deliver also.
This 'good' school is based in Salford and has a real inclusive nature. Senior Leaders have created a strong ethos throughout the school, where all students, staff and parents successfully work together. Students feel safe, confident in their learning environment and genuinely want to come to school. The school boasts excellent transport links from the city centre; therefore is easy to commute to.
