Description:
The aim of the course is to promote positive behaviour management strategies for children who have aspects of challenging behaviours with the emphasis on de-escalation strategies.
Learning Outcomes:
Describe what epilepsy is and understand the different types of seizures. There is also a practical element to the course that will accredit you to administer Buccal Midazolam medication, which is an emergency medication used to stop prolonged seizures.
Duration: Approximately 4 hours.
Delivery: This training is in person training, delivered by a qualified Epilepsy Awareness and Buccal Administration trainer.
