Job Title: 1:1 SEMH Classroom Support
Location: Cheshire East
Salary: £83.40 per day onwards (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time | Term-time only
Start date: January 2024
Are you passionate about mental health and education? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We're looking for a dynamic and empathetic individual to provide 1:1 classroom support to students in a school setting.
Ideal for:
Psychology Graduates looking for hands-on experience.
Anyone with SEND Support experience or a background in behavioural management.
What You'll Do:
Provide tailored, 1:1 support to students with SEMH needs.
Work closely with the teaching team to develop strategies that help students thrive.
Support emotional wellbeing, boost self-confidence, and foster positive behaviour.
Be a role model and help transform the educational experience for vulnerable learners.
Requirements:
A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Experience in SEND or SEMH support (advantageous, but not essential).
A clean enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Excellent communication skills and a calm, patient approach.
