Job Title: 1:1 Support Assistant
Pay: starting from £95.29 umbrella (PAYE Option Available)
Hours: 08:30-15:30
Type: Monday - Friday
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education have an amazing opportunity welcoming full or part time teaching assistant to work alongside an Ofsted rating 'Outstanding' early years all the way through to Post 16 School , Supporting pupils with complex physical disabilities and medical needs. All of the students within this school have an Education Health Care Plan in place.
This school offers a extensive range of experiences including sensory exploration, play, outdoor learning and accreditation and student progress is carefully monitored and evidenced as part of their learning journey.
Responsibilities :
- provide 1:1 or small group support
- Providing the young person with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
Requirements :
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs
- School experience
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
- The right to work in the UK
- Minimum or x2 references
