Hours: 9 AM – 3:45 PM (Monday-Friday)
Contract: Term Time Only
We are excited to be recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for a brand-new specialist school, dedicated to supporting students with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, nurturing school community from the very beginning and play a key role in shaping the support offered to our students.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND.
• Help deliver tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Support students in managing behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement.
• Assist with personal and social development, promoting independence and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD, or MLD.
• A calm, patient, and supportive approach to learning and behaviour.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
