Position Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Pay: Starting from £89 per day
Contract: Long-term opportunities available
We’re looking for an experienced, resilient, and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking school in Redditch this September.
This isn’t just another classroom support role, it is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of neurodivergent pupils, particularly those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. These young people don’t just need a Teaching Assistant they need you: someone who understands how to navigate big emotions, high energy, and complex communication needs with patience and purpose.
What the role involves:
• Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who require tailored emotional, behavioural, and academic support
• Adapting classroom materials and strategies to ensure learning is accessible and engaging
• Supporting regulation strategies, sensory needs, and transitions throughout the day
• Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track progress and adapt support plans
• Championing inclusion and creating safe, predictable routines
Who we’re looking for:
• You’ve already worked in a school setting and have substantial experience supporting pupils with ASD and/or ADHD
• You understand challenging behaviour and know how to respond with calm, consistency
• You’re emotionally intelligent, quick to adapt, and genuinely passionate about supporting neurodivergent learners
• You hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to get one quickly)
