Job Title: ADHD Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Contract: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ADHD Teaching Assistant to join our team in the heart of Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to thrive in an educational setting. Responsibilities: • Work closely with the lead teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with ADHD. • Provide one-to-one and small group support to enhance learning and concentration. • Utilize appropriate techniques to manage behaviors associated with ADHD. • Assist in developing strategies to promote organization, focus, and positive classroom participation. • Monitor and track students' progress, adapting approaches as necessary to meet their evolving needs. • Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize support for students.
