About the Role Axcis are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of educational settings, specifically with primary aged students in Birmingham on an immediate basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of pupils who require additional support to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND. • Assist students with their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing. • Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets. • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. • Encourage student engagement, independence, and confidence. • Manage challenging behaviour positively and in line with school policies. • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and support provided.
