Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Axcis are recruiting for a Challenging Behaviour teaching assistant to work in an alternative provision in St Austell. You will be required to work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals. You will provide support to students who may be experience emotional, behavioural challenges or trauma. You will be required to: • Provide one to one support sessions to children • Help them develop coping skills, emotional techniques, and resilience • Support students’ social emotional and mental health needs. Qualifications • Experience working with social emotional and mental health needs in an educational or support setting • Empathy when working with students facing emotional and behavioural challenges • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Axcis Education is the UK's leading recruitment agency specialising in SEND.
