Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant
Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary SEN
Camden, NW5 | ?? Full-time, September Start
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in NW5 (Camden) is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their SEN team from September 1st.
You’ll be working with students with Autism (ASD) who may display challenging behaviours and require personal care. The role is hands-on and would suit someone who’s calm, confident, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Role:
Supporting pupils in-class and during transitions
Managing emotional regulation and behaviour
Providing personal care where needed
Working 1:1 or with small groups
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with ASD and challenging behaviour (essential)
Comfortable with personal care
A proactive, resilient, and compassionate approach
Someone who stays calm under pressure and builds strong relationships
Job Details:
Start date: September 1st, 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (term-time only)
Location: Camden, NW5
