Early Years Teaching Assistant – N17
Tottenham, N17 | Full-time | September 2025 Start
A lovely primary school with a nursery provision in Tottenham (N17) is looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a full-time, term-time only role, ideal for someone who is nurturing, energetic, and experienced in supporting young children aged 2–5.
What the Role Involves:
Supporting children in nursery and reception classes
Assisting with play-based learning, phonics, and early number work
Helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
Supporting with feeding, toileting, and other care routines where needed
Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and families
What We’re Looking For:
Ideally CACHE Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent)
Strong EYFS experience – school or nursery setting
A kind, patient and proactive nature
Confidence supporting speech and language development, early learning and behaviour
A genuine passion for helping children thrive
The Details:
Start date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (term-time only)
Location: Tottenham, N17
Contract: Long-term with potential to extend or go permanent
