Start Date: ASAP Location: Oldbury, B68 Role: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-time or Part-time available Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Part-time minimum of 3 days per week) Pay: From £89 per day Long-term role A friendly and inclusive primary school in Oldbury (B68) is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term position, with both full-time and part-time options available. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs and playing a key role in their learning and development. The school is seeking someone reliable and committed who can provide consistency and build positive relationships with pupils over time. Role Overview: • Supporting children with SEN in the classroom and during structured activities • Working 1:1 or with small groups to encourage learning and engagement • Supporting emotional, behavioural, and social development • Assisting teachers with day-to-day classroom support • Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment The Ideal Candidate: • Experience supporting children with special educational needs (essential) • Able to commit to either full-time hours or a minimum of 3 days per week • Patient, dependable, and supportive in approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one This is an excellent long-term opportunity within a supportive primary school for someone looking for stability and meaningful work.
