Job Title: Exam Manager
Are you an experienced Exam Manager with a strong background in school administration?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established mainstream secondary school in Sale, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Exam Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, organisation, and execution of all internal and external examinations.
- Manage exam schedules, seating plans, and invigilation arrangements to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate exam records using SIMS, ensuring compliance with school policies and examination board regulations.
- Liaise with teaching staff, senior leadership, and exam boards to manage key deadlines.
- Train and manage a team of invigilators to support examination periods effectively.
- Address any issues or disruptions during exams promptly and professionally.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Exam Manager or in a similar role within a school setting.
- Proficiency in using SIMS (School Information Management System).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
