Job Title: Key Stage 1 SEND Teaching Assistant, Redditch
Location: Redditch
Pay: Starting from £13.86 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Full-time

We are currently looking for full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to join supportive and inclusive primary schools in the Redditch area. This is a highly rewarding role working 1:1 with Key Stage 1 pupils who have additional needs such as ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), and ADHD.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Supporting children in accessing the curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress and adapt strategies
• Using positive behaviour management techniques to help children thrive in the classroom
• Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with daily routines and personal care (where required)
Requirements:
• Experience working with SEND children is preferred
• We also welcome applications from care workers with experience supporting vulnerable adults
• Must hold (or be willing to apply for) a DBS on the update service
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
• Enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to supporting children with additional needs
