Job Title: KS1/KS2 SEND Teacher - QTS
SEND Specialist Teacher – Primary School (Hounslow) A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated SEND Specialist Teacher to join our team within our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP). This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and well-supported environment. The Role We are looking for a passionate SEND specialist teacher to work with pupils in our SRP who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and are currently working within the pre-key stage standards. Our provision is designated under Cognition and Learning, although many of the pupils are autistic and have associated learning and sensory differences. The successful candidate will be able to adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of complex learning needs and create a structured, supportive classroom environment. We currently have two opportunities available: • KS1 class – starting after Easter • KS2 class – starting in September Contract Details • Full-time (Monday–Friday) • Paid to scale • Based in Hounslow Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons aligned with pre-key stage standards • Support pupils with a range of cognition, communication, and sensory needs • Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider SEND team • Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and personalised learning plans • Create an engaging, structured learning environment where pupils can thrive We Are Looking For Someone Who • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Has experience working with SEND pupils, particularly autism and cognition & learning needs • Is confident adapting the curriculum for pupils working below age-related expectations • Is patient, creative, and committed to inclusive education • Works well as part of a collaborative team Interviews will take place on 20th March.
