Job Title: Learning and Care Support Assistant
Learning and Care Support Assistant – Harrow, HA3 Salary: £15 - £18 per hour (PAYE) Full-Time, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Learning and Care Support Assistant to join a SEND college in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with healthcare experience to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Responsibilities include providing 1:1 or small group support, assisting with personal care (manual handling, peg feeding), supporting students with challenging behavior and specific health needs (training provided), collaborating with teaching staff, and ensuring students' physical and emotional well-being. Previous healthcare experience is preferred, along with strong communication, empathy, and flexibility. Ongoing training and professional development will be provided.
