Job Title: Lecturer needed for college in Sutton

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Lecturer to join a specialist education provider based in Sutton, London. This role involves supporting young people with a range of additional needs, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to progress in education, employment, and independent living.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive teaching, creating a positive learning environment where every student is supported to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support learners with a range of learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional needs.
• Develop and implement personalised learning plans.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and support where required.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills development among learners.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Experience working with learners with additional needs or within a specialist education setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
• A patient, supportive, and flexible approach to teaching.
