Job Title: Lunch Time Supervisor
MSA – Lunchtime Supervisor (SEND) Location: Northolt, Ealing Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Pay Rate: Competitive Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 2:00pm (5 days per week) About the Role Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and reliable SMSA (School Meals Supervisory Assistant) to join a highly regarded SEND provision in Northolt, starting ASAP. This role involves supervising pupils during lunchtime, supporting their safety, wellbeing, and engagement. The children are of primary age up to 13 years old and have a range of special educational needs. Personal care will be required, so previous experience supporting children with SEND and assisting with personal care is essential. About the Pupils Pupils present with a range of additional needs, including: -Moderate to severe learning difficulties -PMLD -Autism (ASD) -Physical and medical needs -Some pupils may be non-verbal Experience working in a UK primary, special school, or care setting is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities -Supervising children in the dining hall and playground -Supporting children with eating and drinking where required -Assisting with personal care needs -Promoting positive behaviour and safe play -Supporting pupils with communication needs -Ensuring a safe and inclusive lunchtime environment Essential Requirements -Experience working with children with SEND -Experience supporting with personal care -Patient, calm, and proactive approach -Strong communication skills -Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) About the School The school is a well-respected SEND provision in Ealing, supporting pupils with a wide range of learning, physical, and medical needs.
