Full-time | £83.40/day | January 2025 start | Potential permanent role Axcis Education is excited to be partnering with a Keynsham-based secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant. This full-time role begins in January 2025 and offers the potential for permanency after an initial settling-in period. About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students requiring additional support due to mental health challenges, attachment disorders, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your focus will be on fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment to empower students to succeed academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored support to students in one-to-one or small-group settings. • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement personalised learning strategies. • Promote students' emotional well-being and social development through positive engagement. • Assist in maintaining a structured and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
