Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker
Mental Health Support Worker in Tameside. Axcis Education are currently working with a PRU in Tameside who are looking to recruit a people who have had experience in support work, care work, sports backgrounds ideally with experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. This role will involve working with students who are away from school due to a number of unavoidable factors. You will be required to provide support to students so that they can keep up with their studies. As an ALN Teaching Assistant with Axcis, you will already have experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a confident but approachable manner and have strong management skills. If you are a Youth Worker with experience of supporting pupils with SEBD then we would love to hear from you. At Axcis education we expect our candidates to be flexible in their approach to work so availability between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm would be desirable. As a company we pay very competitive daily rates - dependent on experience, ranging from £95-£110 per day A valid DBS is essential which is registered on the DBS Update Service.
