Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Assistant looking for a rewarding role within a welcoming primary school?
We are seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our friendly Early Years team from September. This is a full-time position supporting children in our vibrant Nursery class, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities.
Foster children's social, emotional, and educational development.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Encourage children's independence, confidence, and curiosity through play-based learning.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Support children's personal care needs where required.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery).
Holds a relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable but not essential for candidates with suitable experience).
Has a warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to helping young children achieve their full potential.
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child development.
