Job Title: Part Time Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming mainstream primary school. This part-time role is for three days per week, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, starting after the February half-term and continuing until the end of the school year.
The successful candidate will be supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo, you will assist in adapting learning activities, providing one-to-one or small group support, and encouraging independence in pupils who require additional help.
We are looking for someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. Experience working with SEND pupils in an educational setting is desirable, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are equally important. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents will be essential.
