Working hours for this role are between 8.30am to 3.30pm however you may be required to do planning/ marking outside of this time and the daily pay rate ranges from £135 - £180 per day depending on experience. The ideal candidate would be passionate about supporting children in their learning, patient, and kind. The schools we work with all have a strong team of permanent staff who can support agency supply. These roles would also suit someone who is wanting to move from mainstream schools into SEND schools. Responsibilities include: • Working with the students on a 1:1 and full class basis • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment • Monitoring the student’s academic achievement and working towards the student’s Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) • Managing the classroom and dealing with any challenging behaviour efficiently Requirements for this role include Right to Work in UK, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Enhanced DBS on Update Service, individuals with a caring and empathetic approach as well as strong communication and written English skills.
