Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant
Primary School Teaching Assistant – Runcorn
Full-Time | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Supportive School Environment
We’re looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join a warm, welcoming primary school in the Runcorn area. This full-time role involves providing both 1:1 support for a child in Year 1 with emotional and learning needs, as well as assisting across the wider Key Stage 1 classroom.
The Role Involves:
Offering dedicated 1:1 support to a young boy in Year 1, helping him stay engaged and build confidence
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support plans
Supporting group activities and classroom routines across Key Stage 1
Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning space for all pupils
We’d Love to Hear from You If You:
Have experience working with children – in schools, care, residential, or youth settings
Are calm, patient, and compassionate, especially when supporting emotional and learning needs
Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
Are passionate about helping children grow and succeed
Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred, not essential)
