Job Title: Primary SEND Teacher - ASD - Camden
London - North
Axcis Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEND school based in Camden who are looking for a SEND teacher to join their dedicated and experienced team in September 2020. The school is a SEND school catering for pupils aged between 3 - 11 years old with ASD. Most pupils alongside Autism also have additional physical and sensory disabilities. The ideal teacher will be a dedicated and creative teacher with demonstrable SEND knowledge. Mainstream Primary school teachers with a passion for SEND are welcome to apply. You should have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching which promotes for all learners. The school is purpose built with excellent facilities and modern resources and was rated 'good' upon its last OFSTED report. It is easily accessible via public transport and also has private parking amenities. This role is to start in September 2020 and will be a full-time role that continues on for the academic year. There is potential for this role to become permanent. The role: o SEND teacher - ASD o Start ASAP o Full-time role (Monday - Friday) The candidate: o Must have QTS o Demonstrable knowledge of and a passion for SEND o Makaton and PECS -not essential but highly desirable o Experience working with Complex Needs and ASD The school: o Mixed school catering for pupils aged between 3 - 11 years old o Experienced and supportive Leadership team o Excellent resources o Easily accessible via local public transport links This is a temporary position.
