Axcis Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sherborne, Dorset. This exciting opportunity is available for a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holder looking for a rewarding teaching role within a supportive school environment.

About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Teach pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (depending on experience)
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Support pupils’ academic progress, confidence and personal development
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual learners
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and the wider school team
• Assess pupil progress and contribute to raising attainment

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• The ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons
• A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• A commitment to supporting pupil progress and achievement
• A positive, enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching
