Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant - Stockport
Axcis Education is recruiting for an exciting opportunity at a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Stockport. We are looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a Year 6 child who has ADHD. This full-time position starts in October, running Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the student as they navigate their final year of primary school, helping them stay on track both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: -> Providing tailored support to a Year 6 student with ADHD -> Assisting the child with managing their behaviour and focus during lessons -> Supporting the child’s progress through the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring they meet their learning goals -> Promoting independence and positive interactions with peers What We’re Looking For: -> Confidence and experience in working with the Year 6 curriculum -> Experience supporting children with ADHD or similar needs -> A calm, patient, and positive attitude -> A Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential If you’re passionate about making a difference in a child’s life and are ready for a rewarding role, we’d love to hear from you!
