Axcis are looking for a TA to support on a part time basis in a well renowned, welcoming Primary School in Thornbury. The role is to start asap and will be providing a mixture of general class and 1:1 support to a year 2 child with Autism who has an EHCP. The position is to work full days during the week (subject on your availability) and you will be support her during her daily routine at school to stay on task and to improve her communication and will continue on until the end of the academic year. If you are calm, supportive, and nurturing, reliable and a good communicator with the ability to be firm but fair where needed, then I would like to hear from you. In order to work in this role, as with all with children, You must have an enhanced DBS - if you don't have one, you must be willing to get one - we can put one in process for you. The pay is weekly, every Friday, a week in arrears and varies between £95.00 per day - £105.00 per day dependant on experience.
