Job Title: Realiable full time teaching assistant

Are you committed to providing consistent support to students with autism, both verbal and non-verbal? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant at our lovely ASD Primary School. About the School: The school is dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The students are grouped in class sets based on their academic abilities, ensuring a tailored approach to their education. We take pride in fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere that empowers our students to reach their full potential. Position Details: Role: SEND Teaching Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm (finishing at 3.30 pm on Fridays) Location: ASD Primary School in Mictham Responsibilities: Provide consistent support to students with autism in both verbal and non-verbal communication. Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting classroom activities to meet the diverse needs of students. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and academic development. Qualities We Are Looking For: Passionate about working with children with special needs. Consistent in attendance and punctuality to ensure stability for our students. Reliable and hardworking, with a commitment to the well-being and progress of our students. Requirements: Experience working with children with autism is desirable but not mandatory.
