Start Date: ASAP Location: Wednesbury Role: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: From £89 per day A welcoming primary school in Wednesbury is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a positive impact on their learning and development. You do not need previous school-based experience, but you must have experience working with children with special educational needs and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people. Key Duties Include: • Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings • Helping children access learning activities and follow classroom routines • Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development • Working closely with teachers and support staff throughout the school day • Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Experience working with children with SEN (essential) • A strong passion for working with children and supporting their development • A caring, patient, and reliable approach • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn • A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one This is a rewarding opportunity to build experience within a supportive primary school while making a real difference in children’s lives.
