SEN Teaching Assistant – Supporting Pupils with Additional Needs Location: Coalville, Leicestershire Pay: £89 - £110 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term / Temp (flexible options available) Are you a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are a SEND-specialist education recruitment agency, working closely with schools and specialist settings to provide reliable, skilled, and caring support staff for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them access education in a way that meets their individual needs. Pupils may have a range of needs including: .Autism (ASD) .ADHD .SEMH .Learning difficulties .Complex or challenging behaviours .Speech & Language needs .Physical or sensory needs Roles are available across mainstream schools, special schools, and alternative provisions. We’re keen to hear from candidates who: .Have a minimum of 6 months experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care, or support settings) .Are patient, empathetic, and resilient .Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff .Are confident supporting emotional regulation and behaviour .Have a genuine passion for inclusive education Relevant qualifications or training (such as Teaching Assistant qualifications, SEN training, or care experience) are desirable but not essential for the right person.
