Axcis Education is recruiting SEND Supply Teachers to work across a group of well-established specialist schools and alternative provisions throughout South Gloucestershire.
These inclusive and nurturing settings cater for children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory and communication needs, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, and complex learning needs.
We provide both day-to-day and longer-term cover to these schools, supporting them with class teaching, small-group interventions, and one-to-one provision across KS1–Post-16. Each setting shares a commitment to promoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing — ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to learn, thrive and succeed.

Deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND, following established class plans or creating your own differentiated learning activities where appropriate.
Foster a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment that enables pupils to feel safe, supported, and valued.
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to maintain consistency and ensure that each learner’s EHCP targets and pastoral needs are met.
Manage behaviour in a positive and proactive way, using therapeutic and relationship-based approaches.
Be adaptable — ready to teach across a range of subjects, key stages, and specialist provisions.
Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and sensitivity to each new classroom, making a strong impression wherever you go.
