Job Title: SEND Support Specialist
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with SEND? We are looking for a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team at a college in the Bromley area. Position: SEND Support Specialist (PMLD and Medical Needs) Location: Bromley Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM Role Responsibilities: • Provide dedicated support to students with PMLD and medical needs, ensuring their well-being and engagement in educational activities • Develop and implement personalised strategies to support each student's unique learning and medical requirements • Collaborate with teachers, healthcare professionals, and families to create and monitor individual education plans and healthcare plans • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment Candidate Requirements: • Experience working with students with PMLD and medical needs • Strong understanding of strategies and tools to support complex learning requirements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Compassionate, patient, and committed to the holistic development of students What We Offer: • Competitive salary - £14.66 per hour • Professional development opportunities • Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of SEND students and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you!
