Job Title: SEND TEACHER
Full-Time SEND Secondary Teacher – Year 7
Location: IG5, London
Salary: Competitive daily rate in alignment with the Teachers’ Pay Scale
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Secondary Teacher to join our team full-time, working with Year 7 pupils in a supportive and inclusive school in IG5. This role involves working closely with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring they receive tailored and engaging education to support their development.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD and SEMH. While a subject specialism is highly desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for someone who can bring creativity, patience, and adaptability to the classroom, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Key Requirements:
Experience working with pupils with ASD and SEMH in a school setting.
A commitment to inclusive education and a compassionate approach to teaching.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the SEND team and parents.
