Job Title: SEND Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join a vibrant all-through school in Windsor from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive education, have a solid track record of working with children and young people with special educational needs, and demonstrate resilience and creativity in the classroom. Key Details: • Location: Windsor • Start Date: September 2025 • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm • Contract: Full-time, long-term • Pay: Dependent on experience Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality, tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of SEND, including those with complex and challenging behaviours • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and external professionals • Maintain a structured, positive and safe learning environment • Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching methods accordingly • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider pastoral team to provide holistic support • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing • Contribute to the wider school community and attend relevant training and professional development Essential Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Proven experience teaching in a SEND setting • Strong understanding of strategies to support pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour • Ability to remain calm, consistent and empathetic under pressure • Organised, resilient and committed to high standards of teaching and learning If you're an enthusiastic and skilled SEND teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive school environment, we would love to hear from you.
