Job Title: SEND Teacher
Axcis Education are supporting a Secondary Alternative Provision in Torbay, who require a SEND Teacher to deliver a primary aged curriculum to secondary aged students with complex social and emotional needs, who are working below their age related expectations. The position is full time - 8.30-15.30 - working Monday to Friday. The rate of pay ranges from £160-£210 a day, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. They school are looking for a SEND teacher who meets the criteria below. •Must be a Qualified Primary or Secondary Teacher (QTS), or a very experienced unqualified SEND Teacher •Ideally, has previous experience working in a PRU, AP or SEND School (not essential) •Has a passion for working with students who have complex SEND Needs. •Is confident in relational practice •Can draft, adapt and implement provision plans to meet the needs of learners.
