Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Axcis Education is recruiting an EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with early developmental delays, communication needs and emerging autism traits.
The Role:
• Provide hands-on EYFS support through play-based and sensory activities
• Implement early communication strategies including visuals and modelling
• Support children with social interaction, self-regulation and routine building
• Assist with observations, progress tracking and EHCP-linked activities
• Work closely with teachers, SALT and support teams
About You:
• Experience in EYFS, nursery or early SEND
• Knowledge of early communication tools (Makaton, PECS beneficial)
• Nurturing, patient and child-centred
• Comfortable supporting personal care and sensory needs
