Start Date: ASAP Location: Bromsgrove Hours: Full-time preferred (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm) Part-time considered – minimum 3 days per week Pay: £89 per day Contract: Long-term role with potential to become permanent We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming all-age specialist SEN school in Bromsgrove, supporting pupils across a range of age groups and needs. This long-term role offers the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships with learners while supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity for the position to become permanent. The Role: • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils of different ages • Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation throughout the school day • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver personalised learning programmes • Encourage independence, engagement, and positive behaviour • Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment About You: • Caring, patient, and adaptable in your approach • Confident supporting pupils across a range of ages and abilities • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Experience in SEN or education is beneficial but not essential • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a specialist setting that supports learners from early years through to older students, offering long-term stability and progression.
